The Program Development Manager supports and develops emerging initiatives designed to enable integrated, value-based, person-centered oral health care, including planning, testing and evaluation, and program development.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Interpret business strategy and guide supporting development, testing and implementation actions and intervals.

• Define and document business case, initiative requirements and operational processes.

• Identify dependencies and take actions to reduce risk and ensure synergies

• Serve as primary project contact with sponsors ensuring communication is maintained and continuously improved and reporting schedules are adhered to

• Serve as business manager for assigned contracts, including contract execution, tracking of hours, billing, and reporting.

• Other duties as needed or required.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or a health-related field.

• Four years’ experience in project management.

• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage a work plan with a strength in organization, time management, communication, adaptability and goal achievement.

• Strong communication, interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to deliver results to achieve appropriate quality and timeline metrics.

• Demonstrable project management skills, including influencing, communication and tracking skills, and planning and organization.

• Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office.

• Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary.

 

 

Preferred:

• Experience within public health, healthcare product development, program evaluation or project management in a health-related field preferred.

Physical Demands

• Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.

• Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25lbs.)

• Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out own position responsibilities (i.e. use of personal computer).

• Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.

• Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
