I'm of Japanese descent and currently reside in Madison. I work as a Special Agent at the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and the focus of my investigations is cyber and financial crimes. I also serve on the agency's Diversity Advisory Council and am a member of multiple committees focused on outreach, recruitment, and retention. 
I am interested in teaching, and currently, I'm an adjunct professor at Marquette University and Roosevelt University. I teach a variety of courses that include Accounting, Computer Forensics, and Criminal Justice. 
My other interest is in combatting fraud. I've obtained my Certified Fraud Examiner credential through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. I also serve as the President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners - Milwaukee Chapter.  
I'm a student at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where I'm "ABD" in the pursuit of my doctorate.
